What's the difference between Felix's Flora, Love Bugs, Healthy Gut and Gut Soothe?

All our probiotic blends have the same base which is our Love Bugs. This is a 14 probiotic blend with an added prebiotic larch.

Healthy Gut is Love Bugs with added digestive enzymes, Gut Soothe is Love Bugs with added herbs and nutraceuticals to help reduce inflammation of the smooth muscle (think, digestive tract, nasal passages, lungs, bladder, ect.) Felix's Flora is the newest in our line and absolutely amazing, especially if you need to use antibiotics.

The researchers and scientists I worked with identified and cultivated three focal derived feline species of probiotics/ beneficial gut bacteria. We chose these bacteria specifically to:

· Strengthen your cat's immune system

· Help keep your cat's gastrointestinal tract calm during times of stress

· Produce metabolites that fight against bacteria like E. coli and salmonella

· Improve availability of nutrients to the diet

These isolates were named Limosilactobacillus reuteri F9-3, Lacticaseibacillus paracasei F9-4, and Pediococcus acidilactici F9-7 and combined with our 14 strain blend and Larch prebiotic used in popular products like Love Bugs and Gut Soothe.

In our goal to always take a proactive view of your cat’s health when creating products, we also took a look at the world-wide problem of nutritional mineral soil depletion and added the king of soil-based organic minerals, Fulvic and Humic Acid. This powerful combination adds vital minerals, helps feed the cells of the body and aids in the removal of toxic minerals and heavy metals.

Is Felix's Flora intended for short or long term usage?

We recommend rotating through probiotics unless you’re giving them for a specific reason (like Felix's Flora during and after antibiotic use).

Amazing product and amazing shop!

I contacted this shop after my cat had been in and out of emergency for a week with some gastrointestinal issues to confirm I was getting a product that would be appropriate for her. The customer service was amazing. They explained to me options of different products, even suggesting products that they themselves didn’t stock (which made me so much more confident that they were not just trying to get a sale themselves). After settling on Felix’s Flora, the team upgraded my shipping to express so we could get her started on it ASAP and included a little toy for my cat too for when she was feeling better- genuinely one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had and was such a nice and welcome change from the hectic week we’d already had.

Now the product itself- it’s been amazing at helping her little gut overcome the issues she’s been having and getting her more regular. I started adding it slowly to her meals because I didn’t want to overwhelm her little system but I noticed a difference immediately. Her poops weren’t as smelly as they had been while she had been sick and she wasn’t rushing to the litterbox with urgency anywhere near as much. A week of using this later and she’s pretty much back to normal (with only one episode of diarrhoea in the last week).
